Teisha’s beginning. Teisha’s journey.

Teisha grew up in rural Alabama but currently resides in Georgia. The daughter of educators, Teisha learned the importance of clear and effective communication at a young age. Her parents taught her that words have meaning and should be respected and used wisely. Her first editor was her mother, who used the same red ballpoint pen she used to grade her students’ assignments to review her schoolwork before she turned it into her teachers.

Because of what she was taught and her love for reading, writing and literature, Teisha decided to obtain an undergraduate degree in journalism and then went on to get a master’s in advertising and public relations. Over the years, Teisha has served in numerous communications roles, both paid and volunteer. Her experiences combined with her education have helped her to refine and showcase her natural talent, reverence for words and passion for efficient communication, helping her excel at completing assignments, reaching company goals and creating relatable, engaging stories.

One of Teisha’s main strengths is her student mentality. “I’ve learned a lot and I know a lot, but I recognize that I’ll never know everything. I make it my mission to learn something new every day. This keeps me open-minded, informed and aware. I think continuous learning is the only way to be a well-rounded person and employee.”
