My passion
Liberty and justice for all…
Take a stand.
“In a racist society it is not enough to be non-racist, we must be anti-racist.”
—Angela Davis
Social justice pieces
“Racism is not a problem that black people created, so fix your hearts and minds accordingly. Teach your children love, compassion and consideration. Teach them empathy, color acceptance (not color blindness), tolerance and peace. Teach them that the feelings and thoughts of people who don’t look like them, worship like them, love like them, are important.
“Racism isn’t a person, it’s an evil spirit. Racism has created a monster within itself. Those who fight monsters are doomed to become one if they forget what they’re fighting for.”
It’s not enough just to be nonracist, we must be anti-racist and break the chains of oppression and racism that have bound our country for far too long. Let’s stop cheering on the oppressors and start working toward a world that truly has liberty and justice for all.“
